Developing a network wide service
Published on February 12, 2004 By The Network Hub In Welcome
The NCN project started 3 yeras ago and has grown slowly from a tentative approach to putting a few information centres into hospitals to something bold and ambitious striving to meet patient's and carers' needs for high quality dependable sources of information when and where they need them . With generous financial support from Macmillan Cancer Relief we have been able to develop a range of centres, information giving roles and outlets for information. We're entering a very exciting phase in this work at the moment, where the learning from this project will be shared with cancer networks and Macmillan projects across the country. This blog will hopefully help us to share some of what we've learned by experience, and give people a palce to come and look to track our progress.
